I don’t see any more signings now, just a matter of getting rid of the likes of Khedira and De Sciglio. And I still think we will look to get rid of one of Berna or Dougie C.

Yeah 5 midfielder are enough for Pirlo, I think. We will play with 3-5-2

Then I don't expect much from this season. Our worst thing is the mid. We're gonna perform great only if our mid signings shine here. Having said that, our board must think VERY highly of them if they think our mid is ready to win matches and titles.

IMO it's not about who's a better player between the two but who do we need more. And I think Dzeko is literally what we need. A lot more are needed his characteristics rather than Suarez.

I’m coming to realize that I like it too. Dzekogoal, European striker pedigree, a much safer option than Suarez in terms of work rate and discipline. If we get someone like Aouar next, I’ll be more than happy with this mercato.

Underwhelming if true, tbf i really wish there was some other way or better options to go for but i guess this are the circumstances atm and there's not much we can do about it, hopefully he turns up for at least a half-decent season because we will need him to do well, there's no way he is not coming here as a starter, the figures involved and his mentality/personality clearly suggest that he would never accept to come here only as a rotation/depth role, yes, even as a 34/35yo, if there's someone dumb enough to be proposing it then be sure that's what we should expect.

I'd ask myself another question, what other semi-relevant CL contender would even realistically consider Dzeko as their main ST/CF in 2020? not even literally, but practically there are perhaps barelly a few that would even consider him for a depth role at this point, which again, it's hard to think that he would actually take it into consideration knowing that otherwise he is better off where he already is.
