I can't believe some people say Matri is better than Dzeko:sergio:

I think this move would be very good for us. I can see him pairing with Vucinic very well. It'll take a while before he gets to the form he used to have but he's worth spending our money. Finally we could successfully deploy our 4-3-3 with a targetman like Dzeko.

Bilan fans would be pissed
I dont htink conte would change back to a 4-3-3

I will say FUCK Dzeko before he joins Juve. I have a bad feeling he is coming. 4th choice striker coming from man shiitty and Juventus fans are excited. What the world has come to.
Why is everyone so excited for Dzeko, hes a flop. Also he wouldnt fit into contes system
if hes so good he would be first choice aand he doesnt fit in contes system
I didnt mean defend but Conte likes the forward to hold the ball up. Is Dzeko any good at that?
We need a forward that can defend.
Not that I think he's coming here, but anyone who says Dzeko is shit and we shouldnt sign him...well...yeah nah. Nonsense.
:agree:

Someone who defends, Dzeko just stand there and hes slow and has worse ball control then matri. At the moment
this just shows how little you understand about football.

if we got cavani and he actually defended like he does for napoli it would decrease our chances to win with our tactic.

if we play our possession based game against a drawn back opponent you want to have a reference point at the very top of attack you can cross to, who will keep the other defenders on their toes potentially making space for the midfielders to run into or heading the incoming crosses.

even when we are not in possession dzeko needs to be the spear head of our attack at the middle circle, because if he defended like cavani does, for instance at the left back or right back position, then there is no need to get the ball anyways, because when we have the ball there is no one in front to play the quick counter. pirlo could launch balls over the high defensive line of opponents for dzeko if he still stands there, but if dzeko defends, then there would only be vucinic and giovinco who would not win many aerial challenges anyway and even if they would get the ball they would dribble with the ball until the whole opponents team catched up and is defending again.

In fact he doesn't need to change anything. Our team knows how to play 4-3-3 very well. It's just that when we played this formation we were very wasteful due to lack of an efficient targetman who's also got decent first touch. With Dzeko we can use it more successfully and I can see us using this formation a lot.

3-5-2 against stronger teams, 4-3-3 against the likes of Parma, Genoa etc. where we need to dominate the game and score quite fast. Smaller teams give territory away easily so we need to make use of it. The 4-3-3 is better for that purpose.

I may be wrong, but we failed to sign Dzeko initially because we only could use one EU spot and that was used on Krasic?

That was probably used as an excuse not to sign him that year..You guys really think we would have shelled out €25m+ for him ? especially since we were in somewhat of a tight financial position that year

He shall rot on city's bench. He went there for $$$ why is he complaining now, he saw that coming.

You, being Dzeko's Public Relations director, should have known this already.
I thought so. But can someone please explain that to Lowlife?

I have the sneaking suspicion his mind is already fixed at "he chose money over Juventus" conundrum.

Rumour has it, that Edin isn't satisfied with Hustina.
Oh no you didn't.
