this just shows how little you understand about football.

if we got cavani and he actually defended like he does for napoli it would decrease our chances to win with our tactic.

if we play our possession based game against a drawn back opponent you want to have a reference point at the very top of attack you can cross to, who will keep the other defenders on their toes potentially making space for the midfielders to run into or heading the incoming crosses.

even when we are not in possession dzeko needs to be the spear head of our attack at the middle circle, because if he defended like cavani does, for instance at the left back or right back position, then there is no need to get the ball anyways, because when we have the ball there is no one in front to play the quick counter. pirlo could launch balls over the high defensive line of opponents for dzeko if he still stands there, but if dzeko defends, then there would only be vucinic and giovinco who would not win many aerial challenges anyway and even if they would get the ball they would dribble with the ball until the whole opponents team catched up and is defending again.
Lol this made me lol, Napoli plays counter attcking football if anything Cavani shouldnt be defending, we play possession football, we pass the ball, and create chance by holding the ball, Dzeko does have to help the midfield and defence when it comes to defending. Matri is always in the midfield during the build up play, with our possession football we create chances we dont only play counter attacking

In fact he doesn't need to change anything. Our team knows how to play 4-3-3 very well. It's just that when we played this formation we were very wasteful due to lack of an efficient targetman who's also got decent first touch. With Dzeko we can use it more successfully and I can see us using this formation a lot.

3-5-2 against stronger teams, 4-3-3 against the likes of Parma, Genoa etc. where we need to dominate the game and score quite fast. Smaller teams give territory away easily so we need to make use of it. The 4-3-3 is better for that purpose.
I agree but i like the 4-3-3 alot better, then the 3-5-2. I like 1 main cf rather then 2 cfs.

I find it astonishing that anyone would consider Dzeko anything other than an excellent signing for Juve.

Not saying there aren't better players in the world, but realistically, Juve aren't going to do better than him.

Every time ive seen Dzeko play he just looked out of the game, ive never said hes bad, but i havent seen much of him, yes im just making assumptions but i would rather have jovetic or llorente here. I would welcome Dzeko if he actually imprvoed our attacking line

Don't think we are going to spend 30m cash on Jovetic this year. We were trying to include players but Viola didn't want.
