...or how many goals Dzeko scored as a substitute where he had less time to deliver versus Aguero starting most games.
...this is another valid point. Another good stat to see would be how many goals and contributions from each player has resulted in a victory or a point?

Has Dzeko been scoring the 3rd and 4th goals in 4-0 wins, whilst Aguero has been scoring the only goal of a 1-0 win or vice versa? < this is just an example by the way

Beyond stats I have an opinion on Dzeko from what I have seen at Man City. I said previously he's a useful squad player to have, he has some unique attributes. But at a top club the jury is out on whether he can do it week in and week out and at the very highest level... and surely no one here is suggesting Dzeko is better than Aguero, right?

You never rep me although I am to Dzeko what AndreaChristiano is to god :(

To those of you hating on Dzeko: You'll not find a better goalscorer on the market unless Agnelli says $#@! it to the bank and breaks it.
good good. dzeko is an ice cold fucker. marotta once said it was his dream to sign dzeko. that was before dzeko moved to the arabs. and i know that dreams come true

City are apparently beginning to make a move on RvP. They want to close e deal quickly and are willing to let juve talk to Dzeko and offer us favourable conditions on the deal to raise a bit of cash and Eli image a direct competitor for RvP. It could be favourable if we play it right. The formula being a loan with option so we can still spend this summers budget on JoJo. We are still in for Poli and I'm convinced we can pull off both attackers this mercato. JoJo plus Dzeko > RVP alone.

You sound like me when I completely invent transfer news :D
Just keeping the troops optimistic. :D

But seriously, we should offer them a truce and say if they give us Dzeko on a loan deal, we'll sign him tmrw and step out of the RVP race, so we can blow all the money on JoJo. With Krasic, Melo, Ziegler and Matri still to be sold, it'll be a fantastic finish.

You never know, perhaps Marotta's plan all along was to get Dzeko and decided to go after RVP as a bargaining chip with city so they can pull out of the race as long as they sign Dzeko. You never know. Moggi used to play these kind of games in the past.
