Good news: Apparemtly Tottenham have refused to sign Adbayor from City, for lack of a better deal. ThIs would be great for Juve if true. It opens up one or more scenarios in their favour. A) City pull out of the RvP race and therefore allow Juve to hold the keys to that deal, allowing Juve a better deal at a better price. B) City being moe flexible in offering us Dzeko to make space for RvP, offering him to us on our terms. Loan plus obligation perhaps.

The guys at media set are saying Juve and city already have a pact where Juve step aside for RvP and let City have him for a reasonable Dzeko deal.

We should sign Adebayor instead:D Loan + option to buy for 5 million.

He's way better than anything we got right now anyway.

Step aside  like we're able to compete with them financially
Maybe van Persie's wife wants to move to Turin.

Suns, prevent yourself from seriously mentioning Adebayor ever again.

@jfg: Not so much about the money in this deal. We can't afford the wages City will offer, but rvp's will is what makes it decisive in our favour. If Manu pull out of this deal, we have a huge hand in this deal. Competition isn't only financial always.

I was just joking, hence the smiley.

BUT..With Matri sold and nothing else left out there? I'd take Adebayor on loan. He scored 17 for Tottenham last season. He's way better than Quags.

You have a point, but you are far from right.
We might offer him a better share from commercial contracts and a better platform to sign those deals. That isn't little by any standards. He might sell 1m shirts in Man C or 5m here, combine that with a difference of ,say, 1 euro per shirt ... Thats very simplistic, but also a point to consider in the overall picture. Plus the route to certain death imho as a top footballer is as follows -> top team->fierce competition->heavy rotation->bench time->no NT spot->transfer list->

If Arsenal sign Cazorla and Sahin(both deals are close) he could well pull a Rooney and stay at Arsenal.

    He's not bad.
    Not bad at all. :D

Seriously though for 5 mil, take that shit, sign Jojo, then keep Ade for bench option next year with Higuain\Cavani being our main striker and Ade for bench. That's some solid bench option.
