We've had this exact same conversation like 5 pages ago? Are you just copying and pasting? And to be fair, until you can spell Aquilani right (not Aquelani) maybe it's best you say nothing...

To the other person comparing Dzeko to Trezeguet... Trezeguet had one key element to his play that Dzeko doesn't have... Pace!

To the person suggesting Adebayor as an alternative... I could live with that. Getting a player like Adebayor for £6 million is an absolute snip. His wages would be a problem though

Trezeguet wasn't as slow as Dzeko, but he certainly wasn't lightning fast himself.

Trez was a one touch scorer, a lot of his goals were from the first touch of the ball, with his head, inside the box, outside the box, doesnt matter. Džeko on the other hand is a bit better with the ball at his feet and can do something even with a defender in front of him. And he is much stronger than Trez.

I love Trez btw and Džeko will probably never be in his league, but he'd definitely be one of the best strikers in Serrie A.

If juve do sign him, I am calling it right now that I want to start the player thread, just to piss Cam off to no end.

Oh, he would be less upset if he caught me sleeping with his girlfriend

Guess who could upgrade his 15 assists tally by at least another 5 with Dzeko in the squad?

The more I think of idea getting Dzeko, the more I like it. If we could get him for 20-25m and salary was not higher than 4.5 - 5m it would be a good deal for us. With the team we already have it would be quite easy for him to score. Cavani is just one year younger, yet Dzeko seems to to be better with the ball, but has lower workrate. If Borriello was 'ok' for Conte then Dzeko should be more than good enough. He's taller, stronger, better with the ball and far more effective. Don't sell Matri, he would be useful as Edin's backup (and just don't strengthen Milan for no reason). Get Armero and close the mercato :)

Buffon
Barazgli - Bonucci - Chiellini
Isla - Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio - Armero
Dzeko - Vucinic

Buffon
Lichtsteiner - Barazgli - Chiellini - De Ceglie
Vidal - Pirlo - Marchisio
Pepe - Dzeko - Vucinic

This team would be complete. We have good players to rotate in each position yet we strengthen our weakest point - attack by at least a mile.
