Yup, he ain’t going anywhere at this stage.

I like him in this role coming off the bench. Still clumsy with the ball, but his pressing was great and got the goal.

With the lack of creativity in midfield and David being limited we need a guy who can come in and get us a goal in deadball situations etc.
We definitely need an alternative to David, and based on this two first games it seems that Vlahovic coming on as an impact sub actually works because he is very different to David in terms of being an aerial threat and off the ball movement that probably even defenders take a while to adjust.

He's too expensive to shift anywhere and while we're paying him it's better to make use of him rather than freeze him out.

Fortunately we have a coach smart enough to defy the will of the Juventuz Brain Trust

You just know something is seriously wrong when you now find yourself agreeing with fricking Cassano of all people lol

But still, no point in sending him to the stands at this stage if he can contribute and is ok with the sub role, there’s also a January market after all, although i’d sure like to see him get used as sparingly as possible, hopefully we’ll see more than a few games where he’s asked to warm up but then doesn’t come on. :D

cassano is no position to educate anyone on anything

vlahovic has a mentality problem. the fact that he wants the money he's entitled to by his contract is 100% normal and pointless to criticize. the celebrations are stupid, but so are most of current football celebrations. he'll get over it, just like everyone if he starts scoring again. he's still a good striker with the potential to become world class - but only if he gets his mind right. he should concentrate on playing football and nothing else, otherwise he'll end up in turkey in no time

and cassano should shut up. i wouldn't give him a platform. there are literally hundreds of more intelligent AND more interesting people in football. cassano is just the football version of trash realities

I just find it rather funny how he takes this kind of stuff personal and plays the moral high ground despite being a complete moron that is in no position to discuss about Juventus after all the bs and hate he throws at us every other day.

You want your beat striker to warm up and not come on? What is wrong with you. Thank goodness your not in charge of the team with when you are this petty

I see both arguments for freezing him out as well as playing him. But if they get a motivated Vlahovic that wants to keep scoring goals, that’s a good thing. Maybe he’s better when he’s getting bullied.

A possible extension between Vlahovic and Juventus cannot be ruled out. An attempt to mediate the situation between parties is not excluded. The Serbian has the opportunity to demonstrate his usefulness to the clubs project. These months, with Tudor’s ability to mediate the situation, could lay foundations for new beginnings. The striker has never expressed desire to leave. It’s possible he could look to renewing with lessen demands

We shouldn't offer him anything near 10m because he isn't worth it.

Please be true:

"Dusan #Vlahovic could move to #Inter in 2026 as a free agent. His entourage has shown interest and availability to discuss the salary. While #Juventus would be assessing a sale in January to save part of the salary and earn a few millions."

At this point I hope this happens.
I doubt it. We have already planned post Vlahovic era by investing in David and Openda. It's great we have him for 'depth' this season which means anything less than a top 3 finish would be disappointing.

He's become a luxury now which we will be looking to get rid of. Would be nice if we can extend contract and sell him for a decent fee but highly unlikely that happens.

If Dusan were a forward at another team and becoming a free agent this season, I don’t think you’d be against Juventus signing him for free, right? So renewing his contract can’t be a bad thing either. If he lowers his salary to around 6-7 million, it’s fine for him to stay. Why should we let a 25 year old striker, for whom 90 million was spent, leave for free?
