Fans were alarmed when it was reported that Juve had put Vlahovic on the transfer market, but this was mainly a financial decision, because his contract will rise to €12m per season net from next year, which will be €20m gross.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, the plan under Andrea Agnelli was always to sell Vlahovic two and a half years after signing him for €70m plus €10m in bonuses from Fiorentina.

That idea was rather ruined by the Serbian’s fitness problems and poor form, which made the sale at €120m implausible.

on a bit more serious note, dunno how accurate this report is, but can we just support the shit out of attackers next time we gamble on them. vlahovic in a defensive, passive team was never, never ever gonna work. again, this rumor might be bs, but it's not that hard to believe, it could easily fit the jj mo

i can't wait to see a strong juve (i mean the club) again.

The problem is when you spend this much on a single player there’s nothing left to spend on supporting him.
The sad part imo was that the management, like average fans, fell for that Haaland nonsense.

Vlahovic-Chiesa and whoever you throw with them should work great if we have a midfield. Problem is that our midfield is still shit. Going with potential, in their prime mediocrity, and good but always injured. That’s our mid. It’s really poor and our garbage tactics under Max make it even worse. New manager and one consistently class midfielder would make a world of difference.

agreed on the midfield, it lacks any creativity. imagine a (now wannabe) top10 european club trying to make a mark and their lifeline is either pogba staying healthy for 3 days in a row or fagioli or miretti suddenly becoming iniesta lol

but vlahovic could do much more with different tactics. he's not an allegri player at all. anyway, jj looks like a bit more attacking this season (though small sample size and shitty opponents), we'll see how the season progresses. maybe dusan can find his first touch, really a necessity for any footballer, even gk's nowadays, and maybe the team will try to support him more, even though the quality isn't ideal
