Morata can track back. I honestly prefer seeing him in the starting lineup than any of our paraplegics in midfield.
Nah, he can't, hasnt got the engine or discipline for it. Same for Dybala, they're not two way players. You can have maximum two of them in the lineup, but ideally Id prefer only one and have dynamic guys like Cuads and Chiesa fill the rest of the attacking spots.

If Morata is playing LW, its the Ronaldo kind of LW that has a guy defending left flank behind him.

Pretty sure it will be the status quo 8-0-2 and hope the 2 can score. Which they might, honestly.

There's no Scamacca - there really shouldn't be. We have other areas to focus on.

I'd love to see a 4-2-3-1 with Morata as a LW, Cuads on the right, and Dybala behind Vlahovic.

4-4-2 also looks like a possibility, and when Dybala needs a rest, we can go 4-3-3.
You would love to see any formation as long as dybala is in it :D

So is this guy a generational talent or what?

Are we getting a Mess level talent that will wow us for over a decade or until someone else comes and buys him?

Dybala part of the 8, Mckennie part of the 2.

PS. You’re as bad as Singus and Jager right now lol
At least with Vlahovic-Dybala it makes more sense to just keep the tight 8 man unit behind them and hope they score. With Morata, it made less sense.

He did in some games during his first stint here, with Mandzo playing as a CF and Cuads on the right.
I cant remember seeing him as a winger honestly, makes sense it was in his first stint.

My main concern is his ability to track back and do defensive work, mandzu was a beast in that sense. Moratas crossing is not the best but I guess its not the end of the world as he can carry the ball well.

Also I feel Dybala works much better with a player like Vlahovic than Morata. Time will tell.

I was convinced Morata was gonna leave and pretty happy with that idea tbh, but if he can somehow work with Dybala and Vlahovic and find som stability It would be an interesting Trio

If Chiesa is fit, then sure. However, if the choice is between fielding Morata, Fagiot or any of the other useless cunts in midfield not named Locatelli, then I'd pick Morata 99 times out of 100.

I saw the rumors today saying the transfer to barca is difficult because of wages and Atletico etc. it was reported here earlier today, cant remember the exact source. Might be BS, I'm just playing offa that at this point.

Anyways: if he ends up staying and converts to a backup I'm fine with it, but then what happens with Kean and also will he accept being less prioritized going forward and how will his motivation be.

seems less than ideal unless he fully accepts that role or if he indeed will be played as a winger instead like some suggested (given that it would actually work)

Loads of speculation basically lol

I hope one of them leaves tbh. Neither seem like players with the mentality to put up with adversity or losing their place and changing positions. Morty could do that once, but he seems too mentally broken now. And Kean, well… Raiola being his agent speaks volumes.

I'm more positive towards Kean staying, but that's only because he is younger. He has been dogshit for us tbh.

Morata: Look, it's always this love/hate relationship with him. idk what to make of him anymore: he is very inconsistent, but has his great moments. A lot of people here love him and he is popular player so there's that.

Going forward the main priority for us should be for Vlahovic and the attack of this team to function optimal and get a good start with the right players around him.

kean or Morata, doesn't matter for me tbh, the player that works best with Dusan and the team should be the priority.
