@italiacalcio10 been saying for months and months that our financial position is actually quite strong and the €400 mil capital infusion was not solely for Covid losses. That was the previous capital infusion iirc. Back in September I believe he was saying he expected this coming summer mercato to be one with heavy investment. Our struggles on the pitch may have made us start that a bit earlier.

? Viola create less chances than us according to xGoals, yet are outscoring us mostly due to Vlahovic being a fantastic finisher. He’s outperformed his xGoals both this year and last. We’re -5 to our xGoals and Viola are +5 to theirs. Entirely due to Vlahovic having a 28% conversion rate and Morty having 15% lol and Kean 22%.

Our strikers suck. If this guy continues finishing the same way he has for Viola the past 1.5 years, we’re going to score quite a few more goals.
