It’s not his job to hold the play. We play so deep that he needs to drop back. He should be judged on converting chances to goals but he gets no service. This “clown” would be turning into a Haaland at Dortmund.
He is definitely a top finisher, without a doubt. But he has clearly been struggling with his first touch as a target man and combining with players on the counter. Both of those things directly impact the quality and frequency of chances he gets.

He should be the icing on the cake, but we don't have anything to mix the ingredients and actually bake the cake.

Nothing against milik, he is doing well. But if anyone said that milik would be partnering vlahovic upfront and we'd be playing who and what we are playing now before the season started then everyone here would be calling them a dickhead

I'm sure dybala would be handy but he'd be bumping into dusan deep trying to get the ball. When the system is dysfunctional, doesn't matter who you have on the pitch, it doesn't click or work and everyone looks average.

He’s a striker. Dropping deep and dribbling is not his style of play. He needs a playmaking forward next to him. We had one but we let him go for free to Roma.
Letting go of dybala wasn't the wrong decision. He ended up at roma and is being paid less than what we offered him. Think we got that right. The wrong decision was bringing in a fragile pogba.

Yep right, now Vlaho is the problem… are you the same saying Paulo was the problem? WTH management is a problem, Max is a problem right now, our fitness and medical staff is a problem, mediocre players like MDS is a problem, a bunch of overpay dude like Rabiot, AS, Woj are the problem

Our best players are not the problem, cut it up

Was this in response to me? The way we play is awful, Vlahovic isn't a traditional number 9. He needs balls in behind, he is a modern striker

We can say all we want, but currently - technically - Milik looks like twice the player Dusan is. He is stronger, has better first touch and can actually outmuscle opponent. Dusan looses every duel and passes like Rabiot.

I think it’s clear to all he’s being limited by negative, defensive, pussy tactics from Allegri.

Even Ronaldo would struggle to score in the system our coach is playing

It's true that Dusan lacks service, but it's also true that Milik plays in the same pussy system as Dusan does. He's making Dusan looks like a one-dimensional player -- poacher. But at this juncture neither of them are our problem, we are simply not a TEAM.

Because Dusan is a poacher (potentially World Class), and Milik is not. He always played behind Lewandowski in NT, because he can create.
