Where is Chiellini? :(

Lucio has been very good in CL, but he's had quite some crappers in Serie A.

Fred, not even 3rd choice?

Lucio has had a few bad games at the start of the season(Roma game comes to mind), but imo he has been extremely solid over the past months and definitely deserves to be in the team. It was a close call between him and Pique.

As for Chiellini, i'd probably have him as fourth choice after the mentioned players.

Chiellini hasn't been that good for most of the season.

Just because he's been miles better than most Juve players this season, doesn't mean he has been particularly good.

But because most centerbacks have been poor or off form this season, his ranking among centebacks this season won't be so bad.

Rio and Vidic have been arguably worse than Chiellini and have played far less matches, so they are out of the equation.

Terry has been the worst of them all, in fact if Chelsea don't win the league, it is partly because of Terrys horrible performances and laughable mistakes as of late.

Pepe has been injured all season. So has Carvalho.

I agree and I stand by my choice of CB's for my team.

I like your team apart from Julio Cesar, he has not had a strong season.
As I recall, he had an excellent first half of the season and has been okay in the second half.

I may be wrong, though.

However, even if he has only had a decent season, I struggle to think of many who have been better.

Lloris has been very good, but I've only seen him in the CL.

No La Liga 'keeper has impressed me.

The best 'keeper in the EPL this season has probably been Joe Hart, though Reina and Given have been strong, too.

Spot on about the keepers, none of them have been overly impressive and all are pretty close to each other. I'd give the likes of Loris and Reina a slight edge over the others, even though i admit its highly debatable.
