Sometimes players in a slump hide on the pitch. Meaning they don't get on the ball or defend, so contribute nothing. It also means that they have little chance of doing anything positive to get them out their slump.
Luiz at least is making himself available to get on the ball and getting in the box. The argument will be that he is making so many mistakes you want him to hide. But in reality you need players to at least pick up space and attract defenders which he did. He also got himself in scoring positions, which is he keeps doing will hopefully mean he will take a chance which might be enough to settle him.
It wasn't a positive performance but I prefer players to show a willingness to contribute than hide away.
