Luiz was the fourth most valuable center mid in the premier league, according to transfermrkt, and Juve got him for a couple squad players and 28M. I’d say that’s a good deal. If I didn’t know about the original deal that included McKennie, I’d be even more excited, and I liked Barrenechea.

This was a nice one to get done. Now we'll have Luiz, Locatelli, and Fagioli in the bag, it feels like one of Rabiot or Thuram will be here, and it'll give us the rest of summer to try to work out a Koopmeiners deal without the pressure of other uncertainties in the midfield.

McKennie and Arthur will probably be out the door, and Miretti's future could probably depend on if they can sign Koopmeiners (or an alternative).

But this signing absolutely gives us an idea of how our midfield will take shape over the summer
