Fucking steal of i believe the PL-fans. Liverpool and Arsenal fans wanted him also. Iling-Junior was never to gonna be a good player. Even in youth teams he wasn't a standout. I already said something years ago. Pure English greedy plusvalenza. Mckennie is 'okay-ish' but nothing more. Would and could never be a starter for us if we want to raise the bar back to Scudetto again.

He's a good player but you do always worry how quickly a lolzilian is gonna lol. Honestly expected this guy to make a bigger PL move, so it is a surprise. He's a clear leap in ability from guys like McKennie, Miretti, Nicolussi, etc. I'm hoping he's a Rabiot replacement at least in terms of midfield numbers.

If we sign Luiz, it might Rabiot join Villa
So it will be McKennie + Iling Jr. + Rabiot + 17m for Luiz
I assume the Rabiot to Aston Villa part is just speculation from your own personal opinion of it all or did you actually read something about it in that sense? Can’t remember seeing any such rumors.

Overall that’d be a very smart move from them perhaps, but probably wouldn’t look too good from our perspective.

It's my speculation
If Villa sell Luiz, they get a lot of plusvalenza and can pay good salary to Rabiot.
Some others PL like Newcastle and Chelsea probably have PSR issue, Pool and Arsenal already stacked in midfield, Man Utd have new policy to sign player below 26. If he want to play Champions League football, most probable option is Villa
They can use Rabiot and play him as DM to rotate with Kamara. Tielemans play in his natural position in Luiz position, McKennie can play as mobile CM behind Watkins

Marie is free agent, so no way you're putting him in equation, even if somehow he goes there lol.

Villa might have some money, but no way they will offer Rabiot more than Giuntoli did + signing bonus to his mom

Looking at the kind of wages that we are rumored to have agreed on with Douglas Luiz it kind of indicates that Aston Villa’s salary structure is far from the elite level wages that the other Top 4 Premier League clubs usually offer so i also doubt that they will break their salary structure to offer Rabiot upwards of €8M per season, although him being a free agent is probably tempting even for them.

I agree...their most paid players this season were Kamara, Tielemans and Lenglet with 5m net (9m gross), Douglas was on 2.5m net (4.5m gross)...agreeing to Rabiot's demands (8m+) would probably cause disruption in locker room.

But they did sign Kamara on free transfer and gave him 4m (net) pay rise in comparison to Marseille's salary

They rumoured to look for Hermoso. He is free transfer and probably will get a good salary as well. Now they go to Champions League, Hermoso and Rabiot will be 2 players that offer some experience played in Champions League.

They already got big plusvalenza as well from Luiz deal so it should be possible.

Sell him when he turns 29, that's usually when they retire
