In the EPL its 6 match insta ban for spitting. Apparently thats in line with FIFA regulations. Plus the 3 match for violent conduct, 9 match seems very likely.

The spitting incident I always recall is Totti spitting on Poulsen. I think UEFA only banned him for 3 matches for it. lol

Costa should get 5 minimum for this. Elbow, headbutt, spit. Wouldn't be surprised if they throw the book at him and he gets 8-10. Only thing maybe saving him is he doesn't have a history of this stuff.

Did he make contact with the headbutt though? It looked like more of a gesture or failed attempt to me. I don't think he'll get anything for that.
