In his case it really is too early to label him as a flop, he been in bad form and still got a goal and could have had a couple of assists to his name aswell in previous games if not for some poor finishing from others... so i think we will have a more clear ideea of what he can offer in the next couple of months.

If some here did watch him play they would have noticed he actually had more than a couple of good crosses since he came here but nevertheless you need someone to finish them... Mandzukic was up to task tonight tho!

Bring him on late in the game to run at tired defenses, but he doesn't possess the necessary footballing IQ to last a full 90 minutes against top quality opposition. I'm sure a couple of members will disagree with this, but months of poor performances seem to suggest otherwise.

I enjoyed it.

Especially as our most consistent winger had 83 minutes to contribute to the game before the goal.
