A winger that can cross?

:shock:
In his case it really is too early to label him as a flop, he been in bad form and still got a goal and could have had a couple of assists to his name aswell in previous games if not for some poor finishing from others... so i think we will have a more clear ideea of what he can offer in the next couple of months.
If some here did watch him play they would have noticed he actually had more than a couple of good crosses since he came here but nevertheless you need someone to finish them... Mandzukic was up to task tonight tho!

Not been a fan of him so far but if he does what he did today and head for the byline and fire in good crosses he could be useful.

@PedroFlu

You were right about that "Scudetto dogfight" after all
As long as Inter doesn't win... our run won't last forever and honestly, if Napoli manages to do it, it would be very well deserved. That club is being managed near perfection for their stature.

Maybe we gave too much power to Allegri, some decision making by him has hurt a lot, including mercato stuff.

@Osman How did you enjoy our, according to the population here, "overpriced, overrated, one dimensional, poor quality" winger, who needed 1 controll, 2 stepovers and an insane cross to decide the game about 12 seconds after walking on the field

He is more suited for these cameo roles where we need a moment of inspiration
:agree: Bring him on late in the game to run at tired defenses, but he doesn't possess the necessary footballing IQ to last a full 90 minutes against top quality opposition. I'm sure a couple of members will disagree with this, but months of poor performances seem to suggest otherwise.

I enjoyed it.

Especially as our most consistent winger had 83 minutes to contribute to the game before the goal.

And cuadrado would have had it not been for those pesky defenders always getting in the way.

Thought his crossing technique would be more erratic but so far it has been superb. Absolute lasers to teammates if you give him any sort of time on the ball.

Still needs to be far more involved in our general play, especially in the early stages of the game.

But his crossing so far has been excellent, I'd like to see him head for the byline more often and put more crosses in.
