Yeh he looked terrible in that game - he made lots of mistakes and wrong choices. But to be fair many of our players did and it was only a friendly.

Some people judge the transfer based on the player per value
Im excited as well because I think he could be another Lichtsteiner type player who is very strong defensively and good in possesion ut not neccesarily going forward. Costa is very expensive so while he is a great player you could say its not really exciting

If i would dare to further explain my view its because I consider costa's top ceiling form to be wordclass, while De Sciglio is decent at best.

If Costa can recapture his form is however much more uncertain than De Sciglio being a loyal soldier , playing tidy at The back.

I think both are fine opinions just need to know where people are coming from. Some people dont care abouit the price and its mentioed its not your money so stop caring. Its not the money I care about but everyone knows when you spend a lot in one area and who would that person doesnt suceed it can have a very big impact. I like all the transfers this season to be honest but im not upset at much nor am I thrilled. Really want that great player that can be a step up in quality.

If we could start MDS and bring in a top cm in the 60-80 range(not Veratti bc hes not coming) who waould want that? If we got SMS and shut down the mercato I would be ok with it.
