why the fuck we need 32 years old player, when we can get 22 years old Criscito? Secco, you're fucking retarded, find a new job, apparently you don't see the difference between football and basketball :(
You can thank our board for that :shifty: :disagree: They had no faith in the kid (thanks in no small part to Ranieri) and decided to offload him to Genoa with the option to buy 1/2 his contract this summer; they have until the 25th of June to pay 5.5 Million Euros and own 50% of his contract.

Well I'd have done exactly the same as secco .. Mimmo was awful and weak not taking into account his "love" for Genoa .. the kid was awful AND kept talking and talking about how playing in Genoa brings him an orgasm !!

Plus, bro, Grosso is much better than Mimmo .. A fact ..

I don't want any of Dossena or Grosso. Grosso is only OK in Gli Azzurri and Dossena is just a bad winger. Hopefully Criscito will come back but I'm unsure if he will return and if he really good enough. But other wise, I don't know who else we can buy instead of "Mimmo". He doesn't cost, so that's something positive. We also need a rightback. Grygera is useless and Zebina crazy even if he's better player than Zdenek. Zebina is really good payed by Juve and also injury suffered.

People are allowing sentiments to get in the way of common sense. How many of you even saw 4 Genoa games with 'mimmo' ? I bet ost of u are only jumping on the bandwagon because he's a Juve product (who by the way much prefers playing for Genoa and as even spoken about his love for Napoli). The FACT is that Grosso is a much better player and is a full Italian International. You can talk about Criscito's 'potential' all you want but I'm sure you'll all jump off the bandwagon as soon as he makes a mistake with us. By the way, how was he the best full back in italy last season, even though Serie A fullbacks have been shit for the most part, mimmo has hardly really striked me as the salvation for us and if he isn't GET THE ITALIAN INTERNATIONAL who is definitely better offensively, stronger and has better positional play.

I disagree; it's a matter of opinion. I don't rate Grosso highly. He has been crap for Lyon, can't even command a starting place. He is old, and we will need to replace him in 2 years anyway, so what's the point? We need to build a team for the future.

Secco: Juve want Italy duo
Sunday 14 June, 2009

Alessio Secco confirms that Juventus are interested in signing Italian internationals Andrea Dossena and Fabio Grosso.
The Bianconeri have already brought in Diego from Werder Bremen and free agent Fabio Cannavaro, but this is just the beginning of their transfer campaign.

“Dossena and Grosso? I can only say that these are not names far from the reality of our wish-list,” the director of sport told Spazio Radio.

Both players are currently in South Africa for the Confederations Cup and have hinted at a desire to return to Serie A from Liverpool and Lyon respectively.

Secco also gave a round-up of the other irons in the fire for Juventus this summer.

“Right now we are waiting for Genoa’s decision on [Domenico] Criscito, as they have until June 25 to take up their option.

“We did look at [Stuttgart defender Serdar] Tasci two months ago, but since securing Cannavaro he is no longer a player that interests us. Besides, he won’t be a free agent.”

In order for these new players to come in, some of the Juve squad must be released to make way.

“Juventus don’t want to send anyone away, but [Marco] Marchionni could be at a disadvantage with the new diamond midfield system. Therefore if we find a better solution then he will leave.”

David Trezeguet, Jonathan Zebina, Tiago Mendes and Christian Poulsen are also rumoured to be on the market.
Are you fucking kidding me?

While we are at risk losing Criscito to Genoa
We are linked with this Grosso and Dossena...
What do you think about Maxwell, Inter has full covered with 2 players for LB position (Chivu and Santon), he already said before that he want to leave with possible destination is Milan but now suddenly Milan has bought Cissokho and Atl. Madrid who interested in him, now tracking Filipe..
I would prefer take Maxwell instead of Grosso and Dossena if Criscito remains at Genoa

I am sorry, but he could have just sent him out on loan. No need for the co-ownership BS! Simply inexcusable and unjustifiable behavior by Secco, and he stands to do it again with De Ceglie.

Why is it have to be either Dossena or Grosso ?

our scouts should be looking in every league out there for fullbacks. In the french, spanish, german and south american leagues we'll likely to find some quality fullbacks there.

Man even that Papa dude that is playing for the argentinian NT (still playing in argentina) can be a better option than those two ......
