Berardi is coming here this summer, thats for certain! The only reason the rumours floating of marotta and co not being sold on him is because.
1, They wanted to renegotiate the fixed Price with Sass.
2, They wanted to see how he responds, what he is made of

I want Berardi back, he indeed has potential to be world class in Juve. I just dont know where we will play him.

He seem to me no the fantasista type of player who creates shid out of nowhere... but he has some good eye for assists. 433 would be sweet with him but we do not play that formation....and at this stage... i dont know if Allegri will change his winning formula to suit Ber.

But for the price, we have a chance to give him a shot...unlike dybala.

i wonder if we can get Berardi for less than 15M. its an option, not obligation, so if we refuse to activate it would Sassuolo ask for more or would they accept a lower offer

Based on your huntch?
logic

We obviously don't have the budget for both so Max and Marotta get to prioritize.
What are the odds of Allegri saying "Hey Beppe, I want this kid to be my second striker. He did a decent job as a winger in a counter attacking team. You know Beppe, he was pretty awesome at running out of his own half with lots of space ahead of him and playing a long ball to Zaza. This is the guy I want surrounded by 3 enemy players on a square inch around the opponent's box."

Yeah I don't get why people fap so hard over Dybala and don't like Berardi. it is because we already have him/he is Italian im guessing. Not a shiny new toy in a way.
Pretty much both of these reasons. But now they say shit like "but he's had a worse season" when, in fact, he has improved in almost every other facet this season. He is clearly ready to play for a big club after 3 really good seasons at Sassuolo.

Of all the games I've seen Berardi play, he just doesn't seem to play well. It's weird. He does sacrifices a lot tracing back, and he is a very decisive player. But you don't see him actually playing well. Can't really explain it.
It's because he isn't a flashy player like Dybala. He doesn't skin players with pure skill and pace, he hasn't really scored wonder goals. But he is more machine-like and clinical. Like an Italian Thomas Muller (light version lol). Great left foot, good workrate, good pace, good at set pieces, still plenty of upside to his game. At 20 years of age and he has basically carried Sassuolo for 2 seasons, kid is made of the right stuff. One thing he definitely needs to improve is his disciplinary record, can't be missing a lot of games with us due to a bad temper. But I guess it's the Calabrese in him :D

Now of course the question is, where does Allegri play him if we sign him? I'd be interested to see if he's capable of playing in a sort of SS role, or even as an out and out ST. Would be interesting. But he is a definite option whenever Allegri uses 4-3-3

Does he play this position at Sassuolo? He is RW, isn't he?

Yes you are right, football and Logic goes hand in hand...
Come on dude you weren't even sure what position he played, you obviously haven't followed him that much.. Apparently you prefer Dybala over Berardi and would rather like him here, and thats fair enough... but it's not Logic, that he is not coming here this summer... Sure it's not even a given that he will... But only if marotta, gets a deal that he can't let go of.. Cavanni for a fair prize(38 plus bonnusses) but what are the chances for that? Berardi will arrive and so will Dybala unless he's 40+

I actually was ironic in the posting. Refrained from posting the :sergio: in order to not come off like a douchebag and now my friendliness is coming back at me. :D Jokes aside I really want Berardi to explode at Juventus. Contrary to what Salvo said his Italian nationality is a plus for me. Great Italian players belong here but I just don't see it system-wise if he is preferred over Dybala and money-wise together with Dybala.

morata unproven becomes a star
pogba unproven becomes a star

now it's the turn with rugani and berardi. if these 2 can develop like hummels and muller did then italy and juve are onto something.

Always be sincere to yourself, and be the best you can! We are not locked in a cave, so you can afford to be friendly:)

Him beeing italian, is the reason they marotta can't afford to loose him, imagine if he were to blossom somewhere else! Only a greater Italian talent could excuse that (or the next in line after Messi/CR)..

Also they way gio was handled, they will think twice before deciding anything regarding Berardi

Also, Berardi was killing it last year. He mightve dropped off a little but what is to say that Dybala won't do the same thing? For that reason they are pretty even. People make it sound like Dybala has been doing it for years?

A lot of people are saying here that he don't fit in our formation, but under Malesani (when Di Francesco was fired) he played very wel in a 3-5-2 with Floro Flores up front. Berardi tracking a lot back (like Tevez) and creates big spaces with that. I hope he wel go to us in summer, the only negative thing is his agressive attitude, he get too many unnecessary cards.

Dybala would be great but, he is too pricy. We can buy Pereyra & Pereyra for Dybala's price and have 10 million for another player.
