I thought he was an NBA star. Not that long ago his name was on the tip of tongue off all asians and asian lovers.
He did good and took his chances for couple of weeks when everyone was injuried. And him being asian in NBA and all that, he was hyped and marketed as the new MJ and Bird combined. Now he's just a regular role player :D

No wonder some of my asian buddies that are into ball stopped talking about their nasty sport.

This is a youngster that already proved something. Because of that, he deserves to be coached by superior coaches and do the training next to superior players, even at the expense of less playing time.
His flaws will be terminated by better experts, not by playing more minutes in an inferior team and coaches who won't work on the problem. It is here where he'll become a better player, not Sassuolo, nor Genoa, Parma or Torino.
I'm happy to have this player in the squad. As mentioned, this is not just another youngster. He's the first teenager in +60 years that managed to score 16+ goals in a serie A season. Juve should be his home.
Exactly. Well said and nobody considers it. It's not just about doing your job but actually trying to do it better. Here he'll have much more help to achieve that.

Anyone sat with the guy for a talk or watched him in training? How can anyone assume as to how he is going to Cope? Is Genie Scout is a real thing now?
Exactly. We are here speculating. Theres just one way to know...and that way is to try him in our full force team and to see what he has got.

Both Manolo and him have shown that they can play in Serie A...so its the time for Juventus to stop being extremely cautious with this kind of players and just let them play... instead of ALWAYS preferring 28+ years players who maybe are not even that good.

We have had our fair share of palladinos in the las years.... but this 2 guys seem to be different. They are worth a shot ,really.

can't agree more. It's almost a sin the fact that we have such young promising talent and they aren't given a chance ever

I hope that we learn something fomr the Giovinco and INmobile examples.

They never got a chance when the time came. If wedo not stop this trend now, it will never change. A lot of teams with much more spending power than us are doing it.... now. why shoudlnt we?. This are sensible times for Juventus, we need to use all our resources in the best way possible...and i share the idea of trying to get the best of our youngsters... not making them hate us and try to go away asap before they get old.

Here's to hoping but sometimes I wonder.

The thing to take into consideration is that he maybe has peaked with the minors. Maybe after performing this well with Sassoulo he'll lose motivation because honestly, what else is there to prove? What if he his 2nd season is not as good? Mentally that could mess a player like him up. Instead we should bring him back, he's clearly good enough to be here.

Please stop banging on about Gio. He is the player he is. If we took him back early or not, not much would've changed. He is a good player. Nothing more.

Sky - Co-ownership at the center of the market Juve. Berardi, Marrone and Zaza will likely remain in Sassuolo .There will be a meeting between Juve & Sassuolo next week .

at the very least Juve should fix an upper limit on buying Berardi's remaining half in exchange for giving Sassuolo a 2nd free loan to play Berardi if he stays there next season.... or give Sassuolo obligation to buy Marrone for a decent amount so that it can cancel out with Berardi.
