We wanted to take him back, but we already had agreed before with Sassuolo that he would have spent at least 2 seasons with them, that's it.

Ah, just to underline some things: When Pogba came here was totally a NOBODY, a sore loser, the ugly duck of Man Utd that played barely 3 professional matches and there were talks to loan him to Atalanta, stopped by Raiola (think about that ) and only became HERE the monster he now is, before he had talent and nothing more, and didn't show nothing before. Don't forget that. But someone says he was "more mature, more ready" than a guy that has been rocking a league in a small team at the age of 19, scoring 16 in more or less 30 matches with suspensions and assisting a lot for his dumb teammates, playing well and saving them alone. If he did that in another league he would have other european giants following him... He's got skills, sharp character, and he didn't play "terrible" in any match as said, he hasn't always been the hero of the match, but was nowhere bad. BE CAREFUL, I did not say that he is better than Pogba, the Pulp is currently the best youngster in the world and play in a different position, it's really a no-brainer and only an idiot would dispute that, but I'm sure that if I didn't explicate that someone would accuse me of that. He will spend another year at Sassuolo where he will confirm and will return here as a protagonist, perhaps having already been called for the NT next year (this year he wasn't also for behaviour issues). So, where is the problem?
He is one of the highest rated youngsters around the world, mate. Every top team will know who he is. Only we stroke fast and since owning 50% of him, no other club will even approach Sassuolo for their half.

Just take him back already, include him in pre-season tour and see if he's got the skills? Buffon stated how easily Pogbas talent shined in training, let Berardi come and convince Conte the same.

Ciro went for a little under 20mil, how much you think we can get for him? Sell, get Lukaku? 2 years in age difference but worlds apart in talent. :klin:

Berardi should absolutely not be sold.

We could chose a new cycle, with Lukaku CF, and get berardi and pereyra.

Our next season is gonna be very average in that case, probably no scudetto.

Buth the potential of berardi and lukaku is sufficient.

If we dont want a new cycle, we shouldnt get berardi back

16 goals in his first Serie A season.
Youngest player in several decades to score a hat trick and a poker.
He's a RW, a position we are lacking right now.

He's showing loads of potential, we should keep him at all costs.

I could see why we sold Ciro, but we should never sell this kid before giving him a chance with us.

in the case we start a new cycle and dont win the next seasons scudetto, wouldnt it be better if we give more young players a chance rather than just Berardi and Lukaku? for example Murru. he plays on a position we lack players on and could play a lot of games. it doesent necessarily have to be Murru, thats just an example of top of my head, but im sure there are others we could give a chance to. atleast one, not just Berardi and Lukaku..

Offcourse not. A new cycle doesnt mean we suddenly become motherfucking Parma ;)

No, a new cycle means you take in youngsters who show big potential and have them play.

It doesnt mean "hey, lets get 5 lads from our primavera who just started growing their pubes.

Berardi, Lukaku, Pogba(last year). Players who had at least 1 good season on senior level, but arent quite made stars yet.

Tielemans comes into mind. Draxxler 2 years ago before he became expensive as fuck etc.

true. i thought we are lacking a LB anyway (for a 4 man defense) we could as well bring Murru in. probably not gonna happen, but if we dont have money, we could bring in another promising young player on a lacking position and give him playing time. it doesent mean bring in 5 new (young unproven) players but 3 (with keeping our scudetto team) we could handle...

They surely know who he is, dude, but he's still not worth the interest in buying him or at least following him closely, as happened for other players. However, I see you got the main part of my post (=Mimmo is awesome) ;), but I'll repeat we can't bring him back this summer due to an agreement made. And there are also the positive sides in leaving him another year in Sassuolo, those said before.
