Arguing his consistency is a bit funny to me when he plays for Sassuolo, a relegation side, who is chasing the ball the whole match. They brought in a whole new squad and a new coach and he was so bad they fired him and brought the previous coach back! And he is supposed to be consistent? Like he is Higuain at Napoli with a secure spot and constant service every match lol?

For me, you can only evaluate his talent level. I can say for sure his instincts around goal are great. He seems to have decent pace and work rate. I don't know if he has the skill to be an out and out winger, seems like more of a striker. Of course, he's 19 and everything can develop or stall. Right now you look for instincts, coordination, work rate, things like that.

Consistency is just impossible to tell for me from his situation.

I live in Belgium. We got a handfull of past glory topteams here.

We see plenty of players that might got talent. Usually Anderlecht or Standard come up with some neath yought prospects.
For a while they'll have ups and downs.
Because they got ups, top teams send down scouts to track their progress.
The moment they are consistant, and close to win a price, they get purchased, and nicely slot into their first team.

However, sometimes a top team buys players here that were not really consistant yet., or only scoring cause of the dogcrap defending thats going on here. Those players generally fail at their top team, cause they cant push for a first team spot. End up with a broken career whilst having plenty of talent.

Trust me, you DO NOT want a young kiddo to go to a top team when they arent standing out on a consistant base yet, UNLESS he is showing ungodly potential.

Berardi isnt showing insane stuff like a young pogba or del piero was. But just like for example zidane, he could take his time to become consistant and exponentially better.

Loan berardi to Parma or Torino, depending on who makes the EL. or Fiorentina if that lubes their anus for a cuadrado transfer

Pogba was very inconsistent when he started playing for us..

All I know is Berardi is showing the right signs. He looks mature and lethal in front of goal. We stand to sign new wingers and will need players for rotation. Absolutely no point in signing mediocre players to sub for the 1st choice wingers, when we can bring back a hightly rated talent and let him get used to playing for a big club like Juve. Just as Pogba said he's learning from Pirlo every day i imagine Berardi to learn from Sanchez every day :xfinger:

When we signed Pogba, he had played a grand total of 3 professional games and was playing for United's youth team/reserves. Del Piero was playing for Padova in Serie B.

Berardi has scored 16 goals and assisted 4 goals in his first Serie A season at 19. No matter how you put it, it is very impressive.

It is very impressive. But he didnt show the skills Pogba and Del Piero showed.

Dont mistake, i'm very enthousiastic about his future at juventus. But i have seen many players crash and burn cause they went a year to soon.

He isnt there yet. Dont burn him

He's showing very good positioning and tactical sense, he's making excellent runs in the box and good finishing. As someone like Red would say, showing these attributes at such a young age is probably more impressive than displaying 'skills'.

I'm not saying he's the second coming of Baggio, I'm saying that he has done enough to be brought back and be given a chance.

We are talking about bringing Nani and Sanchez here. You know Conte isnt a massive fan of big rotations. Pepe is back from injury to be stand in for the right wing.

How many games would he get ? At most 10 including coppa games. Thats diabolical, he needs to play above all else

I fully agree with your assessment of his mental skills, and preferring them over technical skills (wich he has aswel). But i want to see him do that concentrated for the entire game. When not scoring or assisting, keep beeing a value for the team for the entire game. Dicipline

If he has that, he could come here, and kick first Pepe off the bench, and later Nani off the field.

Yes, i have that big faith in Berardi, but he must develop well. ANd for that he needs games

I very much doubt we'll sign Sanchez, we don't have the money.
So do i, but if we buy Nani it means we'll buy another winger.

If we actually get Nani under 10mil, and we sell immobile's half (preferably not), then we can have a shot with a 25mil+bonus bid

But barcelona wont accept that unless sanchez wants out
