pogba went from being a manu reserve player, to a first team regular in 6 months, to a first team stater in his second season.

berrardi has had success as a first team serie a player. his position, unlike pogba requires less defensive duty and less pressure to put constant good performances

example: pogba can score a goal and still get blasted for playing bad, not being involved or losing possession, because as a mid, he is expected to dominate the game. a forward on the other hand is expected to change the game in a single moment
Pogba came at juventus, and despite not shining all the time, he allways kept a level off play that was better then most CM's in italy, and was much better then our other Cm's on the bench at that time.

Berardi on the other hand, is eighter incredibly good, or pretty bad. At sassulo, he doesnt even play all the time. Someone like pogba would easely be a starter and consistantly performing all the time at any team in italy when he came here.

Is berardi bad ? Hell no, he's star potential. But he simply isnt as far in his career as pogba. Pogba came to juve and was mentally allready at that point where he could come in the team without to much compromise to be made. Berardi is FAR to inconsistant, and would get very few games.

To play at juve, you need to have consistancy and be at the point of development where you can come in and make a diffrence, or rivel a starter spot. Pogba did and replaced marchisio.

Berardi isnt there yet. needs 50+ more games before he does.

You look at it the wrong way. Let me explain.

Vucinic is sometimes worldclass, and sometimes average. But him just beeing there, allways adds greatly to the team. He does so much work for us, linking up the team, he offered us the ability to hold onto the ball, when all our other strikers were pretty crappy.

Matri scored a good amount of goals for us, in a time when we didnt had money to buy a better forward. He did his work, and if he wasent such an inconsistant shooter, he'd score so many more because he came into good scoring positions so much more often

Marchisio allways adds his defensive covering and big workrate. Sometimes you get fancy forward moves, but he allways brings his tactical game.

Bonucci has lapses of concentration loss, but when he's not having those, he's a damn solid covering defender, and his passing is essential to this juventus

Esti was a wrong purchase and hardly played

Here is the deal. Before Llorente and Tevez, Current Berardi could come here and play plenty of games, because we had a weak frontline

But currently, and especially when adding Immobile, there are 3 very good consistant players ahead of him, that will perform better 80% of the time (currently), or 100%(regarding tevez),cause berardi is extremely inconsistant. it means very few games for him

He was only benched for 2 games by Malesani (then missed 3 games due to suspension) because Malesani is your typical dinosaur Italian coach who doesn't trust youngsters.

He's starting every game under Di Francesco.

So couldn't it be nice, if Juve brings in Berardi this sommer. And to replace him, Sassuolo brings in Federico Bernardeschi with half owned by Juve of course :D
