Too bad we will also have Pjanic so he wont be taking corners and FKs for us. He also wont be taking PKs. His stats will drop by 70% atleast
:agree: Dybala will also find it tough to emulate this seasons production as Pjanic will steal his set pieces as well. I'm being positive and saying only 50% drop for him.

And then there is Pogba, the douchebag he is he would want to take all the set pieces that Pjanic doesent take. Berardi will be having a hard time here i can tell, atleast Dybala is friends with Pogba so he will have it easier

No one will lift that option. And neither will we. IF everything goes to shit and we get this interista peasant, we'll negotiate it down

It will even out given he will receive better passes, but the problem will be if Berardi is in the lineup he'll be forced to defend more. Berardi will also take away Dybala's ability to roam around the field. Berardi as anything other than a Dybala sub will hurt Dybala greatly imo

It really all depends on the chemistry between them, if it is good I believe they can play together. I wouldnt really say "just" Dybala sub anyway, as Paolo was still incosistent this season and I dont expect him to improve it much in the next season, imo Dybala sub was one of the biggest thing we were missing this campaign. For me Dybala sub would still get plenty of games.

I am not entirely convinced on Berardi. In my opinion he should have made a move to a big club last year. Sometimes staying with a provincial club for too long hurts your development. His temperament has improved while his performances have declined. Tough call but I would not be at all tempted to buy him for 25m.

So am I the only one that remembers that Zach used to be overly pro Berardi?
First he was anti-berardi because he was "inconsistent", scored only PKs and his non-PK goals were indecisive. Then was gung-ho for him and now I don't know what the hell changed his mind again. :D

Last summer he thought we only bought Zaza to get a discount on Berardi and that we will send Zaza to Sassuolo in exchange for Berardi after this season :touched:

You have a good memory @Osman . But does that good memory also remember i was overly pressing for him to remain loaned out at Sass because he was incredibly inconsistant with performances ?

I was overly pro, i tought he needed time to get consistant and blow up like i predicted Coman and Dybala would. Remember how i was saying Coman would be a fine winger, while he was playing cam/ss in friendlies ?

- Then he kept beeing incredibly inconsistant
- Then we all found out he's a huge interista
- Then it came to a point where all the hype just wasent justified anymore
- Then came Dybala, who evaporated Berardi
- Then him and his agent(alot) went on demanding a starting spot despite remaining inconsistant at sass, having his stats boosted by dead ball situations.

See, his predicted explosion has remained abscent, and we bought a player that is better today, then berardi ever will be.

With the forwards we have, there is no place for him.

Let me ask you Osman. How many people were overly pro Vidal, and reconsidered after his knee injury (unjustified) and especially after he left for bayern ?

How many people were overly pro Torrez before he became a peasant ?

Players develop. You can be overly pro, and sometimes they dont quite deliver their expected potential, and you correct your attitude. Isnt this a natural thing ?
