you forgot full-head-of-hair, many of them have a problem with that. 
and we got plenty of the good tourists too, just not from UK and Scandinavia, most peeps from there are trying to drink away something really sad. I guess we just don't have the contrasts, I've never felt any particular need to visit Denmark either

attendance of religious services is more prevalent in the US, I agree. But I mean as far as religion being related to government. in those places, it plays a bigger role from what i know.
good point also. but also keep in mind this occurred when they pretty much ran the world. it all goes in cycles. if greeks hadn't came up with math, someone else would've. they were more evolved than the rest of the world at that point and had much more resources, which led to people being able to study, reseach, etc. religion had nothing to do with it.
