you forgot full-head-of-hair, many of them have a problem with that. and we got plenty of the good tourists too, just not from UK and Scandinavia, most peeps from there are trying to drink away something really sad. I guess we just don't have the contrasts, I've never felt any particular need to visit Denmark either

Well those countries especially Italy is not really religious anymore they are 1000000% more secular than the US just look at their attendance of religious services and how many actually consider themselves affiliated with religions
attendance of religious services is more prevalent in the US, I agree. But I mean as far as religion being related to government. in those places, it plays a bigger role from what i know.
good point also. but also keep in mind this occurred when they pretty much ran the world. it all goes in cycles. if greeks hadn't came up with math, someone else would've. they were more evolved than the rest of the world at that point and had much more resources, which led to people being able to study, reseach, etc. religion had nothing to do with it.
the president appeals to the people. idgf what he believes as long as his decisions aren't based on personal beliefs rather than the betterment of the country.
The us Government still says prayers and gives out congressional bibles etc. There are many religious things that happen in the us government just some refuse to see it

That's kind of silly when a person always makes decisions based on their personal beliefs. Be it religious , idealistic or political. Personal beliefs always enter into decision making process
