It would be a blessing if you lived in a world where you had to hunt animals for food, where agriculture was still unknown to man, and people exchanged information through carrier pigeons and human messengers. :agree:

Anyway, it would be nice if it wasn't so one sided towards tech. I'm not saying science and thechnology is bad, but it should be utilized as a helping hand, not as the main goal of life.

When why the fuck are you suggesting that it shouldn't be so one-sided?
Um, because I don't think making more and more electriricty has the best possible ending to our civilization. And plus that there is more to life then electricity.

No doubt it's good to have it, but neglecting spiritual world in favor of tech is wrong imho. Simple as that.

And no need to throw F words. That's maybe why others feel that even when you want to dabate you still mock and insult them. Just a thought.

I just spent like 10 mins trying to respond to that, but the amount of non-sense in that post simply boggled my head!

How does making more and more electricity in any way relate to the end of our civilization?

And please, for the love of stardust, define a spiritual world properly and explain to me why it's deserving of more of my attention.

I obviously didn't mean that electricity is the sole reason. What I wanted to say is that this whole turn our civilization has gone, with wanting more and more only material stuff ain't no good for it's future.

Define spirituality? People of all races and thought tried to do that to you here and with no success to you, I don't think that anything I would say would be satisfactory to you. So I'm afraid I can't help you with that answer, you will have to search for it yourself.

Even if god himself would say to you what it is I don't think you would believe it, just atributi it some brain damage or whatever, so how can I try to explain it to you?

Too true, couldn't have said it better myself. Sheik, you say you are open minded but really you are not, you just act like the boss in this thread and try to prove everyone wrong.

How do you know it's not good for the future? New efficient and less harmful ways to harvest energy are being developed, the standard of living is going up, we're living longer and longer as time goes on. How is that not good? Wanting more material stuff isn't a matter of science, it's a matter of human nature and if God existed he'd do something about it.

So you're argument is after technology has hurt the world so much now more technology will fix the world? I'm not saying all tech is bad and I'm definitely not anti science but you have to admit. Our food is full of preservatives , chemicals and hormones our air is dirty and our water tainted all because of our quest for tech etc so it hasn't all been peaches
