So you're argument is after technology has hurt the world so much now more technology will fix the world? I'm not saying all tech is bad and I'm definitely not anti science but you have to admit. Our food is full of preservatives , chemicals and hormones our air is dirty and our water tainted all because of our quest for tech etc so it hasn't all been peaches
No, but would you rather live in a cave? You can still buy organic food if you have the means. But I'll take food full of preservatives and chemicals instead of having to hunt it down.

thats just going to the extreme so your argument is not valid. Just because we believe tech is going to far doesnt mean we want to live in caves come on ALC your usually more agreeable

I obviously didn't mean that electricity is the sole reason. What I wanted to say is that this whole turn our civilization has gone, with wanting more and more only material stuff ain't no good for it's future.

Define spirituality? People of all races and thought tried to do that to you here and with no success to you, I don't think that anything I would say would be satisfactory to you. So I'm afraid I can't help you with that answer, you will have to search for it yourself.

Even if god himself would say to you what it is I don't think you would believe it, just atributi it some brain damage or whatever, so how can I try to explain it to you?
Like ALC said, material desire is human nature. It's fulfilling their greed. People used to fight to acquire food, territory, armies, kingdoms, natural resources, etc. Wanting to acquire electronic products is simply one other commodity that is within the grasp of our greed. It's wrong to blame technology for that. Blame the human nature instead.

I asked you to define the spiritual world that you claimed deserves our attention. Your response was that others tried to define 'spirituality', and that their definitions was not satisfactory to me. And then you ask me to search it for myself. That is NOT a good definition. Try again.

You must be god considering how you know what choice I'll make regardless of a very important factor that goes into my decision-making: external influence(in this case, the revelation and answers of god).

I'll give you another chance: define the spiritual world you want me to believe.

Too true, couldn't have said it better myself. Sheik, you say you are open minded but really you are not, you just act like the boss in this thread and try to prove everyone wrong.
Being open minded doesn't mean I'll accept your answer in the very first instance you present it to me. That's gullibility. Your answers will still be analysed critically until all doubts are cleared and it makes sense.

it's fathomable, your selective use of caps lock is a latent sign of being an ass (reference. dr. Dwight Stanke Psychology Dpt. Harvard).
I don't care if or what people say about me but you have been reported all your disparaging comments about my fiance and having her name above your avatar is above the line I will tolerate. Your a disrespectful piece of human feces

No, you never once accepted anything anyone else has said ever. That is not open mindedness.

That's the thing about it though. If tech wouldn't go far, it wouldn't advance as fast as it has. Remember learning about the Rockefeller empire back in school and how bad conditions were back then and how people were basically breathing smoke? How much disease there was when immigrants started coming to America in droves and how the streets were full of horse manure?

WHat I'm trying to say is that we're lot better off than we were in the past, it's just that people only magnify the negatives and like to complain. Food right now is actually very clean because of the FDA. We can get drinkable water from any faucet in the house. And the best part is, it will only get better from here on out because we've learned from mistakes.

Good points but you have to admit we are better off in some ways but worse off in a lot of ways

this is so funny :D

there is no God..as there is no perfectness in science...men wrote the bible as men wrote the theories..

the biggest question i have is what's after death..it's bigger than 'does god exist'
