Altruism by definition is doing good for no reason other than being good. A religious person is being good to get into heaven....where as an athiest has no reason to be good other than being good is just better than being bad. Therefor athiests etc. have better ideologies than religious folk, we are nice for the sake of being nice not for the sake of getting into heaven.
