No it doesn't that's a fucking stupid thing to say. All that proves is that atheists aren't just making up answers where they have none (unlike the other side).

Most people believe in god because deep down they are happy having someone else think for them, tell them what to do and feel and they like feeling a part of something important in the scheme of things. And of course there are always other willing to provide elaborate fantasies for them to believe in.
