I just finished watching 3 seasons of a great travel documentary called Departures. It's three Canadian guys (2 on camera, 1 behind the camera) in their late 20's who were high school buddies that travel around the world and explore lesser known parts of those countries. One of them is kind of a nerd and the other is a goof ball which makes it pretty entertaining.

PS: The cinematography is insanely good.

Anything by them is pretty much guaranteed to be great, except when they have pretentious hipsters hosting.
