I love it when people refer to learning a language by saing "all of it". :howler:

Er grusomt vanskelig å holde seg til gjeldende tema noen ganger..

What would you say about Esperanzo, a language that was created by a certain person?

Mind you, I do agree with what you are saying especially about the boundaries

Why can't you define a language? Because it changes all the time. People start using new words that they make up, after a while some of those become main stream and de facto part of the language, it's a continuous process. There are also lots of words bordering on the language, like frequently used English terms for instance. How do you decide if they are in or out?

I think to be able to say that a person knows "all" of the language, they would have know every word, every phrase in every variation that it is used by anyone at all who speaks that language. Like in Norway we have tons of uglyass dialects, each of which has a different pronounciation for some words (less of a problem) but also a set of expressions and phrases specific to the dialect (more difficult to master).

So the notion of knowing a language in full I think is pointless to begin with.

That depends. As long as the language is completely defined by one person, not a problem. But it's not exactly useful either, cause noone else knows it. If people start using the language, it will evolve and the "author" will lose his precise control of it.

The language has evolved and it was meant to spread faster than it did, but quite frankly, I do not know what happened with it and how has it eveolved....

Såg ni att Goitom gjorde mål för Udinese i går? :D Ser jävligt bra ut på forwards inför framtiden:
Goitom, 20, Udinese
Ibrahimovic, 23, Juventus
Djordjic, 23, Rangers
Rosenberg, 22, Malmö FF

Fast Rosenberg kommer flytta i sommar, 90% säkert. Om inte lär vi inte ha något svenskt efternamn på forwardsplatsen under nästa decenium. :D
