Well lately I haven't practicised much myself either. I like old rock stuff especially the beatles. I'm 24 in a couple of weeks time.

What guitars do you have? I have 4 in all: 1 very simple acoustic guitar i used to learn on, another 12 string semi acoustic italian guitar, an epiphone acoustic and a gibson electric.

I prefer playing rhytmn guitar...I guess you prefer lead guitar?

nah, In a band i always played bass. Thats my instrument.

For a lead, you need creativity & knowledge that i simply dont have:D

I have a semi-accoustic guitar, which my little brother in law managed to screw-up (i couldnt tell him no, he is learning to play:D).

But i have my eyes set on a Fender Grand Master, semi accoustic too and I'm after one small Marshall.

two accoustic guitars are not bad way to start ;)

    Can you sing?

mind you, there are guys that managed to make name for themselves online....although i cant name one:D

What's buging me is the price of that fender:fero:

On the site of the local Fender agent price is Lm 230 (1LM = 2.4 Euro). Me idiot went straight to the shop, asked to try it and got stuck playing it. I asked for the price, he told me LM350:eek: When i mentioned the site, reply was it was not updated for long time :rollani:

so he knows I want that model, and he is not ready to lower the price:frown:

Crazy enough, for the same price i found Yamaha together with the hard case for it.

Not to mention Ovation for Lm 200.

    i tried :frown:

and i found one "big" guitar sales site, with cut prices. The owner of the site is actually on the mission against agents and so on that rip-off on sales of guitars, but he wouldnt deliver outside US:frown:

Ovation is ate least as good as the the Fender i like. Yamaha almost as good. But, you know that feeling, this is the one i want. Buying something else just wont do it.

And the bastard from the shop seems to know that:fero::groan::frown:

    :D

The worst thing is that i think that as times passes by I'm more & more likely to actually say feck it & buy it.:D

It's not the money, it's that i know that he's ripping me off and there is nothing i can do about it:fero:

Why get a fender when you can get a Gibson? My Electric Gibson model is ES135 (ebony). Cost me lm400 if I remember correctly.

This is a semi acoustic guitar:)

I dont want an electric one, not as yet ;)

For the electric one, it will either be Gibson Les Paul or Fender Murray model.

For Bass it can be one of three: Fender Jazz Bass, Fender Precission or Rickenbacker.
