This exemplifies the sort of logic I am having a hard time trying to understand. It's as if life were a giant Coca-Cola machine, and some people expect to put in exactly X amount of money and get precisely the soda of their choice back. So when the can in the machine doesn't drop, it's the Coke machine's intention to insult them personally -- particularly in the face of the people who put in slugs and Canadian change and get their own cans out, etc.
