I don't get your point  I'm not just talking about mathematics here. Developments and inventions occurred in all kinds of fields.

did any muslim prove that the earth revolves around the sun and it is not the center of the universe?

at the time of the basic mathematical discoveries, few if any could predict what the outcome would have been of applying those mathematical concepts.

all i am trying to say is there is a difference between science and science that infringies on god's territorry aka sky

Yes, as a matter of fact before the likes of Copernicus and Galileo there was Al Hacen and others:

I see what you mean, but I think it all depends on where you limit yourself. If you chose to believe that everything is there because God wanted it and put no though into it, you'll have no progress (like Dan said). If there is a religion or peoples who believe that by saying that the earth is round you're being a heretic, there is something seriously wrong with them.

Some parts of America and Europe also do that to non-christians.
really ???

and how do you know that...have you actually been to America, and gone door to door taking a poll ??

Besides the Jehovahs Witnesses making their annual pilgrimage to my front door, nobody that I know gives a rats ass if your Christian or not, and I cant recall ever taking a call of a person being harassed because they werent Christian

nice try....:p

i dont know how much clearer i could state it
Saying 'the latter' implies you are using two different fields. However you are thinking of the same thing (atronomy).

Astrology on the other hand does not need any mathematics. It's a load of nonsense based on absolutely nothing.

Yes, I'm Shee'a Muslim indeed....I'm one of the few people out there that doesn't really follow (Quraan) or any other religious book.

About God....I do believe there's a creature out there so that this world was invented, but not in a God that people intend to make him be. I believe there was a creature to this world, could be Virus, could be God, but surely like I said not in a way people make him to be.
please tell me that you are joking
if you are not joking , is this the openion of all Shee'a Muslims if yes , then
Shee'a are not muslems since muslems believe in god and quran
