Isnt Sweden like the only country in the world that didnt congratulate Bush when he was elected?

Isnt Sweden the country with the best standard for living in the world?

Arent Swedes sexually open minded?

Isnt Swedens area covered with forests (I mean, Goteborg did have a lot of forests between neigborhoods)

And my last question (more like a statement: Isnt Oland cool  I mean really. Borgholm is one sweet place (Gothenburg too, but I like Oland better :thumb: )
If you mean Åland, it's a part of Finland... ;P

well im not racist because i want to be its just that being aware of differences between races and wanting to belong to my own community has been wired into me as it has with everyone else.

often it is conditioned out but its a part of nature and it has been for thousands of years. i am kinda kuwaiti yes in a way i was born there. ive also been a minority everywhere ive lived. yes every single place. and i havent lived anywhere for more than 2 years if u discount this one stop in new jersey.

in a way what anti-immigration people want makes sense. they want to protect their identity and as people are naturally afraid of what they dont know they are scared of immigrants and foreigners. and rightfully so- we immigrants often scare them off with our unruly behavior, dirty sloppy houses, loud voices, poor living conditions, smelly dirty clothes, pretty undignified jobs, etc.

and its true. it really is. all they know is what they have been taught. looking at pictures of starving people in africa they think everybody in africa is as skinny as a beanpole. add to this the stereotypes put in their mind and voila- we have the indian snake charmer, the arab bedouin, the african bushman, the native american medicine man. the chinese martial arts expert.

in fact im surprised nobody's asked me why i dont charm snakes, why i wear shoes, and why i speak english :D

hence education is so vital in helping these people learn and understand.

Well, good luck. I got the impression, from ur first post, that you're proud to be a racist......but now I think you're saying that you're attempting to get rid of it. It's like smoking I guess, but there's no patch. ;)

Dissliking people because they are different or strange has nothing to do with racism IMO. It has to do with me liking or disliking them for who they are, not because of their skin, religion or nationality:

Do you dislike people because of skin colour, nationality or religion LAC???
