First I thought "damn we buy the reserve of others", but then from other side better then to get Boriello. I think we all realized that there won't come any "top-player"!

I have to admit that I don't know him well so I took a look on some of his statistics and I'm delighted...

Year | Team | Leaque | Goals | Games Played |Min Goal.
11/12 | ManU | Premier League | 12 | 7 | 74
10/11 | ManU | Premier League | 32 | 20 | 110
9/10 | ManU | Premier League | 33 | 12 | 175
8/9 | ManU | Premier League |31 | 9 | 283
7/8 | Tot | Premier League | 36 | 15 | 199
6/7 | Tot | Premier League | 33 | 12 | 227

he got better every year!

Well lets see what happens but for 4,5 Mio its a good signing.

Damn why everybody's calling Berba lazy, though he somehow is i think we have around 5 runners in midfield. We create so many chances and need just the finnishing touch, so Berba is the man for the job. He has a good goalscoring record and i think if a good striker plays in front of Marchi/Vidal/Pirlo and Gio/Vuci we are fine as we are. Cheers!!! Quality signing!!!
Can't wait Berba to prove all you haters wrong!!

The new Juventus striker, Dimitar Berbatov (31), will arrive in the evening in Turin to begin his new adventure in the football club of the Italian champions. This is confirmed by Sky and Gazzetta.it. In the next few hours, in fact, the Bulgarian footballer will go on a private flight from Monaco of Bavaria, will bring you directly to Turin where he will sign a two-year contract for € 1.8 million plus bonuses that will tie him to Juventus colors. The top scorer in the Premier League 2010-2011 then he will undergo medical examinations of ritual and by tomorrow evening, will officially become Juventus. Paid less than five million, the now former Red Devils have the goal in the blood and can be a big deal: he scored so many goals in his career and is ready to bring his talent realization in the offensive department black and white, too spessoavaro of networks during the past season. Time will tell if Berbatov is that famous "top player" in the field so desired by dg Marotta and coach Antonio Conte.

Any idea what sort of pre-season Berbatov has done?

Did he play many/any friendlies?

Is he going to be ready almost immediately or are Juve going to have to wait for a month to really get him fit?

Siena, Cagliari, Bologna, Pescara, Torino and Atalanta are absolutely shitting bricks right now.

Milan, Inter, Napoli and Roma not so much.

but what im saying is can you honestly say berbatov would offer anymore to Juventus than Ale would? I'm fully aware they are 2 different types of forwards but thats not what im highlighting. If you want to compare like for like forwards can you honestly say berbatov is really a better fit than Matri? i have my doubts
Offer more than 38 year old DP? Yes. Offer more than Matri? Hell yeah, are you blind or something of the sort? This guy is a very, VERY skilled guy and fits the system like a glove.
