Delneri said that Trezeguet-Diego was his best partnership up front, and it looked like he was willing to try it out.

Marotta wanted to sell every single Secco player.
fuck del neri
he was shit
and diego learned a lot of it
I still think diego could been a star for juve

Problem with Diego is that he's strictly an attacking mid. Can't play behind striker. Can't play wide. Can't play deep. So you have to build a formation for him but he's not good enough to warrant that.

I don't think I've ever seen you angry.
:D I'm rather an easygoing person.

I was on vacations in Italy during Diego time at Juve, he was on second place after ADP in terms of popularity. His shirts were everywhere, kids playing football in shirts with his name, every sport shop having shirt with 'Diego'.
No idea why Marotta got rid of him so fast. When he joined Juve i believed that he will do for us the same as Kaka did to Milan.

I didn't think anyone cared enough about Diego to get really angry about his sale. :boh:
Well, maybe it's because he was one of my favourite young talented players before joining Juve. :) I was biased i guess.

Great post.

I always liked Diego. He's got skills, he's got heart, he's got a winning mentality. Not like the majority of Brazilian footballers who eat shit for lunch. He's just not good enough to carry a team. And his position - classic central AMF - is just not used in Europe anymore. And he was very unlucky to be in that team.

Honestly, as of today I think he would fit well in the squad. I think he works for the team and helps marking enough. He would be a very good option in the squad, but it would be very hard to enter the starting team - he would fight Marchisio for the position.

And he isn't quick enough to play as an SS. But in Marchisio's position he'd do well.

Wish the best of luck to him.

This reminds me of Melo. He is one of the most athletic and skilled all around mids I've ever seen. To bad he's retarded and a loser. Vidal is what he'd have been with a proper brain.
