He chose Wolfsburg. Even if he was forced to go out, he could have still rejected it, not for the sake of fans but rather because of himself, to stay and prove that he was worth paying 25m for (which I doubt). Instead he chose the easiest way. Bigger wages, smaller club. For becoming big you need to be ambitious and ready to fight. Now, no matter how well he is going to play for Wolfsburg, he is always one of the numerous players who couldn't find their ways in a big club under pressure. I doubt he is ever going to be a world class player.
Dude,he was given 1 season under Juventus which was under an inexperienced coach and a coach who probably bribed UEFA/FIFA for his coaching license..
and yet he still produced while the others struggled, yes he isn't worldclass yet like Kaka in Milan,or Zidane or Nedved, but these guys had more than one season before making it in serie A,do you think its that easy to adapt to a new league, let alone to a team who is managed by Ferrara, and Zacheroni..

I would bet you all my vcash point for a monster season Diego will have in Bundesliga..and dont say that Bundesliga are not the same like Serie A,of course it isnt, but dont forget they are still a very very good league..

At the end of the day, now the dust is settling, not to put to fine a point on it, Diego has always been an inconsistent player who was just not good enough for Juve.

As for the supposed loss of monies on the deal. I believe that if looked at clearly, taking off all the add ons, Juve have hardly lost any money on the deal.

Nope... We wanted to sell, he just got the most of it. Would you play in club that does not want you?
Right.

He was one of the very few guys who was trying to make a difference for us last season, when most of them had clearly given up. Oh well, goodluck to Diego. Atleast now we'll be able to see what a Dzeko-Diego combination would do.

German side Wolfsburg have signed Juventus midfield playmaker Diego, according to a statement released on the club's website.

The Brazilian had looked as though he would be staying in Turin, but Juventus' directors considered him expendable if a striker could be found.

Wolfsburg have paid €15.5m for Diego who returns to the Bundesliga after just one season in Serie A.

The operation records a €5.8m loss in Juventus' accounts following his move from Werder Bremen only last summer.

Diego has signed a four-year contract with Steve McClaren's side. He leaves Juventus having never scored in Turin.

Most people don’t understand this transfer .The fact that Diego is no longer our player is entirely his fault. When Wolfsburg pitched their offer for the first time last week, 15 mil, the same offer as now, Marotta turned them down ,considering Diego a valuable player of the team, to valuable to sell him for 15 mil, then he said he would like Dzeko to be a part of the transaction ,or a minimum of 20 mil. When Wolfsburg saw this ,they went to Diego’s father and presented him with an offer of an annual salary of 6 mil euros which Diego accepted. Then Hoeness went to Marotta and showed him in written that Diego wants to go to Wolfsburg . He made the same offer of 15 mil which Marotta accepted , saying that Juventus doesn’t force it’s players to stay with the club .This is just so as we know how much Dieguito wanted to stay with Juventus.
If Marotta wanted so much to get rid of him , why didn’t he do it when he first received the first offer of 15 mil?
I do agree with u that Diego himself was also one of the reason of his departure,BUT if marotta really thinks that Diego was so valuable for Juve then he should have offered Diego a new contract with 6m salary. So simple.

So Marotta was no doubt the main reason.

-One thing i want to say,one thing i hate about Diego that he is Brazilian,im not racist but what i mean is all the brazilian players just think of money, they don't have loyality at all.Have u ever heard of a brazilian player (except Aldair) who stayed with one club for 15 yrs or something as Maldini,Baresi,Del piero,Guti,Raul or Giggs did ?

Good luck in Wolfsburg, this means I'm actually following 3 clubs this year.
Juve as number 1 piority, Parma for Gio and Wolfsburg to see what could've happend if we only managed to sign Dzeko (-Diego partnership).

Forza Diego!
