He chose Wolfsburg. Even if he was forced to go out, he could have still rejected it, not for the sake of fans but rather because of himself, to stay and prove that he was worth paying 25m for (which I doubt). Instead he chose the easiest way. Bigger wages, smaller club. For becoming big you need to be ambitious and ready to fight. Now, no matter how well he is going to play for Wolfsburg, he is always one of the numerous players who couldn't find their ways in a big club under pressure. I doubt he is ever going to be a world class player.
and yet he still produced while the others struggled,yes he isn't worldclass yet like Kaka in Milan,or Zidane or Nedved, but these guys had more than one season before making it in serie A,do you think its that easy to adapt to a new league,let alone to a team who is managed by Ferrara,and Zacheroni..
I would bet you all my vcash point for a monster season Diego will have in Bundesliga..and dont say that Bundesliga are not the same like Serie A,of course it isnt,but dont forget they are still a very very good league..
