I am quite sure Diego would prefer to stay at Juve IF both Wolfs and us offer the same compensation to him. But the fact is they might offer a higher wage and it is very normal for him to listen to their offer and if it is good enough, then why not earn himself a few more pennies.

but I think all the rumours regarding his departure is still not concrete and there is no need for you to be angry about him... and i bet he will stay with us in the end.

Ouch, eat a cookie mate :dusan: :cookie:

But good to know. So Sissoko is out exhausted, we're left with Marchisio and Melo.
Oh ffs, I remember that. I got nothing against Islam, so we basically paid for a player for half the season? Injuries + African cup of nations + Ramadan, hell, the guy might as well not even show up.

Nothing against Islam, but we shouldn't sign anymore muslim players, I want players in my club to be professional and be able to fucking run.

Maybe they should reschedule the season to suit Ramadan

Not sure if you read Diego's comments after the game but if not here they are :

"I still have a lot to prove this season," said Diego on his personal Web site after the weekend friendly TIM Cup tournament, during which he scored a beautiful goal against AC Milan .

"I am very happy about the performance against the Rossoneri. I regret not winning the Tim trophy, but facing the strongest Italian sides in a friendly tournament is an excellent way to improve," he said.

"I don't score goals like that every day. I am very happy, even though we did not win the trophy."

"But this goal is only the beginning. I still have a lot to prove this season."

I'm confident that he will stay, seeing as how Del Neri has said Diego must prove that he wants to stay, which he is doing.

Diego's future is on stand-by Monday 16 August, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus are increasingly unsure as to whether they should sell Diego to German side Wolfsburg, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

Diego has already apparently agreed personal terms with the 2008-09 Bundesliga champions who will be coached by former England manager Steve McClaren this season.

Juventus boss Gigi Del Neri would like to keep the Brazilian playmaker after an impressive showing in pre-season.

However, selling Diego would raise funds for other signings ahead of the transfer deadline on August 31.

Juventus are hoping to use Diego as collateral to sign Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko, but the Bosnia international striker doesn't appear to be on the negotiating table.

Dzeko played for Wolfsburg at the weekend against Preussen Munster and had a hand in a calamitous own-goal, although that's unlikely to discourage Juventus' interest.

This week will be decisive in determining Diego's future as Wolfsburg are scheduled to get their Bundesliga campaign underway against Bayern Munich on Friday.

just let him stay for ....sake

Juventus have already decided: Diego to the Wolfsburg

The Old Lady is in the process of divorcing Diego Ribas da Cunha. Secondo Sportmediaset, infatti, la società bianconera, dopo nuove consultazioni, avrebbe maturato l'intenzione di concludere il passaggio del trequartista brasiliano al Wolfsburg. According to Sportmediaset, in fact, the black and white, after further consultations, he would have acquired its intention to conclude the transfer of Brazilian midfielder to Wolfsburg. Managers Course Galfer, however, would leave only after the player for 18 million euros, or the amount offered last week by Schalke 04, which was then hidden away for the inability to deploy immediately Diego in the Champions League, since its previous use in preliminary Europa League. Sempre secondo Sportmediaset, qualora il Wolfsburg dovesse soddisfare la richiesta della Juventus, Marotta avrà dieci giorni di tempo per reinvestire i proventi della cessione su un altro grande campione. Again according to Sportmediaset, where the Wolfsburg should meet the demand of Juventus, Marotta will have ten days to reinvest the proceeds of the sale to another great champion. Not on Edin Dzeko, Wolves striker of Germany, but on an exterior attack on a midfielder and central focus will be on the band Eljero Elia dell'Amburgo or Milos Krasic of CSKA Moscow, while the role of director you look down forward to the Lazio Cristian Ledesma.
