It's Bundesliga, for fucks sake...
By that logic, La Liga strikers shouldn't count too because it's easier to score even than it is in Bundesliga and only strikers who score a lot in EPL and serie A are proven strikers. Guys like Di Natale, Borriello and Gilardino, for example.

As an additional information, Dzeko also has an ok record in Europe in these last two seasons, scoring 9 goals in 17 matches, of which 4 were scored in 6 CL matches.

You are aware that other big clubs in Europe have very good scoring strikers?
but not ones that do strike more than 30 goals a season ... so it would be an upgrade for any of the top teams ... no top team has 2 strikers that do have the same goal ratio like dzeko ... why wouldn't they get him ?

Because most teams have their own expensive superstar strikers, plus Dzeko is not cheap and Wolfsburg are delusional about his value.

yes, i know and the bold part is why we should not go for him.

for that price tag he had to score at least 30 goals a season for us and i do not see that happening regardless of the striker we would sign.

Felix Magath: "We will not buy Diego," the coach said in post-match interview, according to Goal.com Germany. "Our aim is to focus on players who have more quality than ours at the moment."

That's one German team down, just one more and we can all relax.

I doubt Schalke were ever going to make a move this doesn't really mean much.

If he leaves it was always going to be Wolfsburg because the club wants Dzeko, Barzagli.

Quite true, still though, nice to see other teams dissociate themselves with Diego. Marotta needs to make a statement that he does plan to keep Diego or sign some quality players soon otherwise I may have to introduce him to the axe in my garage.

But he won't

Fool probably still thinks he has a chance at getting Dzeko
Oohhh, good one, Magath. We got burned.
