He is still young and can grow into a different role. There is no point in giving up on a player without giving him proper coaching, guidance, support, and personal development.

I think that`s the main reason he didn't fully adapt to Serie A.I hope next season his going to be played right ,but with Del Neri as a coach i wont get my hopes up.I still cant understand why did we appoint another mediocre coach,when were trying to get back to our best.

He's got a very weak shot. Almost like a girl (and with those legs one would expect a very strong shot). As a trequartista most of his shots were coming from outside the box and were an easy catch for the keepers. Playing as a SS and shooting more from inside the box, will undoubtedly improve his scoring record.

I agree with you, his shoot is weak. but for a player to create a goal not always depend on how strong the shoot. Maybe he could improve the accuracy, timing for the shoot (circumstances where the keeper will hard to see the ball). And he'll be a great SS.

I think a lot of people are still scratching their heads about that. Especially one so old when we are trying to rebuild.

Didn't most of our previously great coaches come at a relatively young age to have time to build something? (Capello is the exception that come to my mind)

i prefer diego to play over alex once fit...im sorry but i get too frustrated with alex trying to dribble 5 men and score and eventually gettin jam instead of passing off the ball and continuing momentum..his 'moments of brilliance' are not enough for me to warrant his inclusion over diego

He always seems to fall over (not literally) after he takes a shot, be it a strike from outside the box or a corner.

let's not get carried away from the world cup performances...
özil had a decent season at best.... with no major european competition....he's still very unproven and tends to be invisible for most parts of the game.
he is surly talented but i won't judge him now....

about müller he had one hell of a season even hollywood couldn't write a better story... i'm excieted to see what he will do in his second season now

but you can not compare müller to diego...

Thank you, Ozil is overrated.

Not that he isn't talented enough but he is still unproven at club level. Its important to remember that some of those Germans who really shine at international level are completely different players for their clubs.
