He is extremely reliant on certain formations which affects his versatility. Not only the formation but the players around him has to be of a certain nature so that he can give a better output. All this means that the team should be built around him thus making the team totally reliant on him, so how can one cope with his absence?

We shouldn't be building a team around him in the first place, like we did for a lot of last season. In the games where we used wide players that brought the best out of him, I thought Camoranesi was much more important to the team. Don't you think that with Del Piero in the team, we could easily swap between both players?

His versatility is what worries me most. It would be less concerning if he was relatively pacey like Kaká (was).

Yes that too, his lack of pace affect his versatility too much. He simply fits better playing as a support striker, that way he will be where he like to be instead of falling in the hole and looking clueless like at numerous occasions last season. I am not saying it's his fault but the lack of team character that fits him makes him want to work harder and thus fails.

As a support striker, it's not his job to do midfield work anymore, instead he can use his skill where it's dangerous.

Edit: his countryman should learn from him and cut his hair.

I fully agree here, and this is one of the reasons why I think we should keep him.

As a midfield, I don't think we're complete enough to accommodate both him and Trezeguet yet.

He is too slow, lacks conviction, and has little eye for the goal.
:disagree: if anything, he's got a great eye for the goal IMO. I've been calling since last season for this guy to play as a SS. From the very few chances he had infront of the goal he managed to score or atleast be really dangerous.

I think he's vision and passing is rather average. Nothing impressive in that department....

He's got a very weak shot. Almost like a girl (and with those legs one would expect a very strong shot). As a trequartista most of his shots were coming from outside the box and were an easy catch for the keepers. Playing as a SS and shooting more from inside the box, will undoubtedly improve his scoring record.

You maybe proven correct, as he seemed to know where the goal was at Werder.

He doesn't seem balanced, and always seems to be rushed.
