It was actually first half of a season and no, he wasn't.

Yes he is, like it or not, he is. We bought him for 25 mil € and he was hailed as one of the best players in world. At the start of the season we were even tipped by some to win the CL, be competitive on all fronts. What we have achieved was knockout at group stages, demolition by Fullham in the lower Euro competition and a fight for the 4th place. The fault is not only his, like I said he is one of the better performers in this horror of a season, but he is a flop. Not a major one like Melo, but a flop nonetheless. He did nothing he was brought here for. Didn't make us play any better, didn't set the pitch alight, nothing to justify his investment. Hell we were better last year without him, even with Ranieri.

I don't like folks who use words they don't understand. Diego has been our best player and was bought at market price. Whatever his price tag was, that doesn't determine being a flop or not. The fact you used that shows you don't understand the word flop, nor do you understand economics.

Since every other player was worse than him, even Sissoko, that means the other players were bigger flops than Diego. You cannot label someone who has been our best guy a flop. It makes no sense.

Hahaha, what a clown and shitty reply. Yeah, market price, if we decided to ship him out at the end of the season, I wonder would that market price still stand, since he's not a "flop".

If Diego has been our best player, that means he has offered our side improvement. Without him, we wouldn't have our best performer on the team, meaning we'd be in even worse shape than we are now.

Can't you follow that logic? Perhaps try sticking with your native tongue next time and don't use shit you don't understand.

Fucking Modric cocksucker.

Improvement on what? The 98/99 season? Look at our results for crying out loud.

The bottom line is, this Juventus with Diego is a shipwreck. If he's one the better performers in a shit team, it doesn't make him good, it just makes him less shitty than the others. Which isn't much of a compliment. You're absolutely not making any sense.

for example ppl blame diego when we have a stripper pole for a striker in trez who knows nothing but how to shoot...

he cant dribble or pass a defender dribbling to save his life
Yeah, lets blame Trezeguet, who even after a year off practically, still managed to be our best scorer in this shit-storm of a season. Go away, Elvin.

If you pay a large sum of money for a player and he turns out to be the best guy on your team, you CANNOT call him a flop since he lived up to his price tag with respect to his teammates. He's still better than everybody else.

I won't bother addressing the clear attempt to scapegoat Diego for our troubles. Others can see through the BS.

So we payed 25mil so he could be the best of a shit-pile? I'd have rather we saved that money and finished like last year. Flop, flop, flop.

Here's to next season, may we get Fabregas so he can get the best out of Diego. :pint:

Ooh, is that a tantrum coming on? Come on, you know you want to, spoiled brat..
Tantrum? You're blaming Diego for our troubles undeservedly.

All I'm saying is that I'm glad your boy Modric is staying home this summer. He ain't shit anyway. Not worthy of heading to the World Cup. That's why he plays at Tottenham.

Football is a team game. This is not the NBA, where a mediocre Cleveland team can ride on Lebron all to the way to the Finals. Even so, Diego is not a Lebron, more like a Tyreke Evans, and we can all see where the Kings are. Bottom line is, no matter how good a player is, and how much he is "supposed to make things happen" if he is surrounded by a bunch of clueless defenders, ageing superstars, and some has beens, he ain't gonna do shit!

Shhhh... don't tell that to Vlatko.

Or, errr... maybe tell that to Vlatko to justify his Trezeguet love.

I don't know. The guy makes as much sense as a homophobe.

Me? I'm just doing what you always do. So I'll continue;

FLOP! FLOP! FLOP!
