I love it how when the going got tough, every single offensive player on this team got "the trezeguet" excuse; he's got nothing to work with. First it was Amauri with his goal draught, now it's Diego, the man who was supposed to fix the very problem I'm talking about.
The problem is fairly obvious, there's no denying it, we're clueless in fluent gameplay, but let's be honest folks...we bought Diego with the premise "to make something happen". He's the one who was supposed to make something happen and make others click better, raise our game to the next level. So let's not use the "he's got nothing to work with". The blame lies on him as much as the others, if not more.
All that said, in this disaster of the season, even with all the bad, he was still one of our better performers. As much as we are still clueless in passing the ball, our biggest problem isn't the offensive, it's the defense.
