Juventus playmaker Diego says it's the club's obligation to try and win everything, from the Scudetto to the Europa League.
The 24-year-old Brazilian, who reacted poorly to being substituted against Ajax last night, is trying to stay positive.
“It's clear that our objective is to win, but this was a game of 180 minutes in which we managed to preserve the advantage we got in Amsterdam,” Diego wrote on his official website.
“What's important is that we went through and we want to go far in this competition,” he concluded.
Juventus have already been knocked out of the Coppa Italia and Champions League.
They currently lie fourth in Serie A, 14 points behind League leaders Inter despite being tipped as genuine title contenders at the start of the season.
The Europa League represents the club's final chance of winning some silverware in 2009-10.
