Jack, stop it. The day we lost to Palermo it was obvious to everyone that you were bashing/blaming Diego. You even agreed with one of the douchebags who said buying Diego was a mistake. There's criticizing and there's criticizing. Tone can be projected in writing too, you know.

But I'll remove it, it is possible you were affected by the loss.

we should use him as support striker while Del Piero is out. its obvious now, we can't do a shit without wingers.

[Ranieri Mode = ON] Gio is too weak to defend [Ranieri]

but seriously , i'd give Gio the chance considering now we have Grosso , who has more balance defending and attacking abilities than Molinaro.

Diego needs to show up, within 20 games he should be acclimatised.

you can play Giovinco as left midfielder against Bologna and Catania but you will be exposed against bigger opponents like we will face in champions league. Do you think that Grosso is reliable enough to handle Dani Alves-Messi or Ramos-Ronaldo or even Mesto-Palacio?

Where do you think Giovinco should play, trequartista? Because he gets bullied by big defensive midfielders in that position.

Do you know Melo - Sissoko?
yes, they are in the formation i posted a few minutes ago.

so do you think that big defensive midfielders will leave him alone if he play as winger? once we secure our full back positions and fill the space with quality defenders he can play wherever he wants. but atm Grosso-Giovinco doesn't look convincing.

Nedved-Emerson-Vieira-Camo
Nedved-Davids-Tacchi-..(i won't mention his name)

Zidane
Jugo-Deschamps-Conte

this one looks similiar to current one but we had Di Livio and Torricelli back then.

We were winning with these not so creative but physicially strong midfields. We need at least 9 men on the pitch who can run like horses.

one of them has to have a face like a horse too, then we are in the good all times ...

honestly the form factor is an important one .... right now no one seems to be at 100% fitness level, but imagine we would have a diego, sissoko and melo who can run for 90 minutes ... fiorentino would not have had a single chance in the second half and would have gotten bullied 24/7 . . . if you can say one thing so far, then it is that our fitness level is certainly one weak spot of ferraras season preparations

If they're going to chase him down, then more space would be open for Diego/midfield to work. Giovinco isn't slow so it would take a lot to work all over the pitch.
