I stay by my word, no one will get back to his form before Del Piero comes back.
I hate that we're dependant on one player. We just need to back our best until they come good with or without Del Piero. I'm confident Diego is our most able creative player but he's alone out there. He needs a Giovinco or Del Piero to share the work load.
I said earlier that the problem with our system is that we'll become too predictable in attack. We need more variety to keep defenses guessing and in this case all creative players including Diego will do their job much more easily.

you hate that we're dependent on one player? weird, 'cos the team's been playing like that for the past 3 years or so

What does he have against shooting?
I'd really like to see him test the goalkeeper more outside the box (like he did against Bayern). Seen a lot of UEFA cup last season when he scored some really powerful shots.

didn't you notice that his shotstrenght is pretty low ? he really needs to work on that, because with his technique he could create great shots on goals, but right now when he shoots from 20 metres from goal the ball will already drop to the floor before even reaching the goal (just like that one goal he scored)

As Ahmed said a couple pages back he got wayyyyy too much credit wayyyyyy too fast, I mean after his first two games it was the next this, the new that. Anyways, having said that Diego isn't arrogent, and that's vital because he can keep his feet on the ground given he comes back to full match fitness after the International Break. It's vital for us Diego, especially since Alex is out he's the only one who can create that magic when we most need it.

Against Udinese last season I remember him blasting one away (and making several dangerous attempts in the semi finals of Uefa Cup as well). His accuracy helps though, but I think a lot of our midfield need to work on shooting from distance. Marchisio puts a lot over and if he is going to start he needs to be more clinical.

And he hasn't been able to create space neither for himself to shoot nor for others.

And Poulsen should just pass to somebody else

I think it's veru unfair to turn against Diego this way....the whole team was good in the 1st couple of matches and he was great...then the whole team wa down so he was...i'd blame him if everyone is doing his role while he's not...there;s something wrong with the team's mentality as a whole...not only Diego...and i still believe he's just a great player
