I don't agree that swimmers are better athletes than footballers, or vice versa. All sports are physically demanding in different ways. Another sport that uses the same muscle groups will be difficult for any athlete unless he has trained his body for it.

As for Diego at McDonald's, it was probably a 1 off thing. I doubt he eats that shit frequently. He would easily burn it off though. Although a proper diet will do athletes plenty of good in the long term.

There was this cocumentary i watched months ago here in the UK where this guy had to eat 3 sittings of Mcdonalds a day for a month to see how bad it was for you. I think he lasted 2 weeks before he started getting ill and had to get told to stop cos it was fucking him right up. I'll try to find it. think you could find it on youtube.
Yea, Super Size Me, the guy who did it is from my home state.

Is there anything that's better in US than Europe FFS?
war, weapons, movies, cars, television, et cetera...

The size difference is amazing. In europe they give you a burger a third of the size you get in the US. but in Europe not so much in the UK they serve alcohol. I know they do in Italy.
Exactly.

That's because you are a clown. An Olympic swimmer is 2 or 3 times the athlete and in shape. Swimmers use more of their body than footballers, for one example.

No, he doesn't. Because Phelps is not a football player. His diet needs to be different. Because he's built to SWIM, not to play football.

Don't you get that, you moron?

And I do like Diego. I don't care where he eats as longs as he plays well. But it's not good stuff for a soccer player.
Again, it's all about what else is included in an athlete's diet. If Diego has McDonalds three times a week, but balances that with his other meals, he'll be fine. It's all about moderation and having a healthy nutriment/fat regiment.

Now proceed with calling me a moron.

You have to understand, McD's in Europe is very different than here. Trust me, I've been to them both. In Europe it's actually much healthier, not healthy, but healthier.

If that's true, then I agree, but you don't know that for sure.
My point was based on the fact that someone said that eating at McDonald's three times a week was okay for an athlete. But it's not.

Actually soccer is a great sport to get in shape. It can be very exhausting, it works the core very well, you also need a strong upper body when you're a pro and you need both speed and endurance.

Phelps is obviously in shape, but he would not be able to run 15 minutes with Camoranesi for example. If all he had to do was follow Camo around on the football pitch, Phelps would fall over soon enough. Now obviously Camo couldn't follow Phelps for five metres in a pool, but you get the point.

You have better war and weapons (whatever that might mean), but we definitely build better cars. Sure, you have some good companies, but the true quality is over here.

As for movies and television.. I kind of tend to agree. Sure, there is the annoying stupid blockbuster every once in a while, but Americans do make A LOT of great movies. And as for tv shows, I think very few shows can compete with House MD, The Wire, South Park or The Simpsons.

I agree here, but...

... which one for example? I haven't seen just a single good tv show (like House MD, Monk, CSI) here in europe. Just very bad LOST covers and stupid ass daily soaps.

There are a few Belgian TV shows which are very high quality, but they're only aired in Belgium obviously. The BBC also make a lot of quality shows.

Yeah, but that's only because they have bigger budgets, if European film-makers had access to the same funds, they would surely show more creativity and originality.

Just my personal opinion.
European cinema is better. I do enjoy the occasional Hollywood blockbuster, but too few have any imagination.
